Starting July 7, the Ministry of Finance is launching the seventh edition of the TEZAUR program, offering government securities with annual interest rates between 7% and 7.90%.

The TEZAUR program, launched on 7 July, offers Romanians the opportunity to invest in government securities with maturities of 1, 3 and 5 years, with annual interest rates of 7%, 7.50% and 7.90%. Investments can be made online or through State Treasury units and the proceeds are tax-free. Securities are transferable and can be redeemed early. The proceeds will be used to finance the budget deficit and refinance public debt. Further details are available on the website of the Ministry of Finance.
