Keurig Dr Pepper is buying JDE Peet's for €15.7bn, with plans to split the group into two publicly listed companies.

The transaction between Keurig Dr Pepper and JDE Peet's, valued at €15.7 billion, will create two separate entities: 'Beverage Co.' and 'Global Coffee Co.'. Global Coffee will become the coffee market leader with sales of $16 billion, covering more than 100 countries. The price of €31.85/share offered to JDE Peet's shareholders reflects a 20% premium over the previous price. The deal will be finalized in the first half of next year, with JDE Peet's generating €8.8bn in sales in 2024.
