Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan, has sounded the alarm about hidden risks in the financial market, comparing the current situation to the period before the financial crisis of 2008. He emphasized that, despite the apparent stability, risks continue to accumulate, and intense competition is leading some players to adopt "stupid" strategies to increase their net interest income. Dimon stated that JPMorgan will not compromise its lending standards to achieve quick profits.

He also anticipated a deterioration in credit quality, noting that history shows that, in the credit cycle, there are always surprises. JPMorgan has recently aggressively entered the private credit sector, offering a $20 billion financing package for the acquisition of Electronic Arts Inc. Dimon also addressed the impact of artificial intelligence on the financial sector, expressing his optimism about JPMorgan's position in this context.

In conclusion, Dimon reiterated that he will remain in the role of CEO for a few more years, leaving the decision regarding succession to the board of directors. His message was clear: risks never completely disappear, and a combination of excessive confidence and reckless lending can lead to a crisis similar to that of 2008.
