Irineu Darău, the Minister of Economy from USR, stated that the drafting of the state budget represents a "first test of maturity" for the governing coalition, emphasizing that the delay in its adoption is a semi-failure. He highlighted that, having a majority of almost 70% in Parliament, the coalition has a moral responsibility to implement the necessary reforms. Darău mentioned that Romanians expect trust in governance, especially in the current economic context. He also emphasized the importance of using the two non-electoral years to accelerate reforms, stating that it is a rare opportunity to improve the country's economic situation.
