According to data published by INS, the inflation rate in April 2026 was 10.7% compared to the same month of the previous year, April 2025. Additionally, the inflation from the beginning of the year, calculated from December 2025 to April 2026, was 3.1%.

The consumer price index in April 2026 increased by 0.84% compared to March 2026, having an index of 100.84%. The average rate of change in consumer prices over the last 12 months, from May 2025 to April 2026, was 9.0% compared to the previous period, May 2024 – April 2025.
