The Prime Minister's advisor, Sebastian Burduja, stated that the listing of Hidroelectrica has demonstrated the success of the capital market in Romania and that this model can be applied to other companies, such as Romgaz or Nuclearelectrica.
Burduja emphasized the importance of a solid narrative in attracting investors and mentioned recent initiatives for investment funds for pensions.
He also addressed the issue of the energy guarantee system, clarifying that it does not favor foreign companies, but serious investors, in contrast to land speculators.
Burduja acknowledged that Romania is facing a problem of oversaturation of technical connection permits, with an excessive number of gigawatts issued compared to actual consumption needs.
