In the first half of the year, Romania imported 934,000 tons of diesel, of which more than half, namely 477,000 tons, came from Turkey. This situation raises suspicions that the diesel may have been obtained from the refining of Russian oil, considering that Turkey is a major buyer of Russian crude. Imports from Turkey could affect fuel sales from the Port of Constanta, causing significant financial losses.
