PSD interim president Sorin Grindeanu says that the implementation of the progressive tax, used in most EU countries, could reduce the need to increase VAT. He emphasizes that higher taxation of small and medium-sized pensions is not acceptable and refers to the recommendations of the IMF, the World Bank and the European Commission, which support this measure as a viable solution for Romania.
