In the first quarter of 2025, GDP remained constant from the previous quarter, but grew 0.3% compared to Q1 2024. According to NSI data, the seasonally adjusted GDP amounted to RON 460.427 billion and RON 375.774 billion on a gross basis. The growth was supported by industries such as construction (+0.4%) and information and communication (+0.1%). Net taxes on products also increased significantly, from 3.5% to 7.2%.
