France and India have entered into fierce competition to attract investments in the field of artificial intelligence, with the leaders of both countries, Emmanuel Macron and Narendra Modi, playing an active role in negotiations with major technology companies.

While the United States and China dominate the AI sector, France is leveraging its nuclear energy advantage to attract investments, such as SoftBank's €75 billion program for AI data centers. Macron has held direct discussions with the leader of SoftBank, ensuring access to additional energy capacity.

On the other hand, Modi promotes India as a hub for the development of AI technologies, securing record investment commitments from companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Google. The Indian government offers tax incentives to encourage the development of the local semiconductor industry but faces challenges related to the production of next-generation chips.

Both countries also aim to strengthen their technological sovereignty in the face of expanding global competition.
