Finance Minister Marcel Boloș estimates that GDP per capita will reach €20,000 in 2024 and investment spending will account for more than 7% of GDP.

Forecasts for 2024 include attracting more than €10 billion and linking investment programs for the development of local communities with European funding programs. The total budget for municipalities in Romania has increased from 9.2 billion lei to 9.5 billion lei, with a special focus on the Anghel Saligny program.
