The Fidelis 2026 program allows individuals, both residents and non-residents, over the age of 18 to invest in government bonds denominated in lei and euros, through partner banks. The interest rates for bonds in lei range from 6.45% for a 2-year maturity, 7.10% for 4 years, up to 7.50% for 6 years. Blood donors benefit from a special interest rate of 7.45% for a 2-year maturity and a reduced minimum subscription threshold of 500 lei.

Bonds in euros offer interest rates of 3.75% for 3 years, 4.75% for 5 years, and 6.20% for 10 years. Investors have the advantage of selling the bonds before maturity, and the income obtained is tax-free. The bonds are listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, and the partner banks include BT Capital Partners, BCR, BRD, UniCredit, and TradeVille.
