Adrian Negrescu underlines that the abolition of land border controls will lead to a significant decrease in logistical costs, especially for exporting companies. The Schengen visa could also significantly boost transactions in the areas of agricultural products, freight transport and tourism. In addition to the positive impact on road traffic and tourism, Negrescu believes that joining Schengen could also make it easier to attract foreign investment.
