The Minister of Economy, Radu Miruţă, stated on Sunday evening that the naval shipyard in Mangalia is an example of a functional platform and that he does not wish for it to go into insolvency and then into bankruptcy.

"I tell the nearly 800 employees to have confidence that for the last 15 years I have been their only partner who cares about the interests of the employees, the Romanian state, and not about some shady business entanglements in the state's disinterest. Because this is the risk that could happen now," Miruţă also declared.
