According to the Ministry of Finance, the ANAF e-Auctions platform has recorded direct collections of 15.3 million lei from online auctions, and the state has recovered over 3 million lei from taxpayers who paid their debts to avoid the liquidation of assets. Since its launch, 78 auctions have been awarded, with final average prices 17% higher than the starting prices.
The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, emphasized the importance of digitalization in the rapid recovery of funds for the budget and in increasing transparency. Additionally, 17 taxpayers fully paid their debts after the publication of the assets, confirming the effectiveness of clear procedures. The platform has had high public interest, with 1,727,885 unique visitors and 70,009,885 accesses. The ANAF e-Auctions expands access to the procedures for the liquidation of seized assets, promoting transparency and competition, which can lead to obtaining better prices for the state.
