Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna highlighted, at the launch conference of the New Money-INSCOP Entrepreneurs' Barometer, that the lack of confidence in the economy necessitates the acceleration of procedures to reduce expenses. Studies show a decrease in entrepreneurs' optimism, with an increase in those planning layoffs and suspending investments. Barna mentioned that Romania is facing a budgetary crisis, not an economic one, emphasizing that 82% of entrepreneurs consider the budget deficit to be the main problem. He expressed hope that, after the peak of inflation, the economy will begin to stabilize.
