The First Vice President of PNL, Ciprian Ciucu, stated that Romania's real deficit is currently about 10% of GDP, comparable to the situation in Greece before the economic crisis of 2009–2010. He warned that if the measures for budgetary balance are not continued and if the decisions of the Constitutional Court delay or block reforms, Romania risks a crisis similar to that of Greece. Ciucu emphasized that avoiding the country's "Grecization" depends on maintaining credibility and political responsibility.
