The Bucharest Stock Exchange reported a net profit of 1.48 million lei in the first semester of 2025, down 83% compared to the previous year.

In the first semester of 2025, the Bucharest Stock Exchange recorded a net profit of RON 1.48 million, a significant decrease of 83% compared to 2024. Operating revenues decreased by 4% to RON 37.21 million, while expenses increased by 19% to RON 37.70 million, mainly due to costs generated by the Central Counterparty. The operating profit decreased by 44% and losses from the impairment of the stake in CCP.RO negatively impacted the financial results.
