Banca Transilvania announces the shutdown of all online applications from December 30, 2023 to January 2, 2024 for upgrade.

BT, Romania's biggest bank, is to upgrade its IT systems, which could cause problems given the hectic period. Users are advised to stock up on cash, although BT cards will work for merchant payments and cash withdrawals and the BT Pay app will be active for payments.
