According to the NBR's report, Banca Transilvania ranks first in the top 10 banks in 2023, followed by BCR and CEC Bank.

NBR's annual report shows that the top five banks in Romania had cumulative assets of more than RON 500 billion in 2023, accounting for about 63% of the banking system's total net assets. Banca Transilvania stood out from the rest of the banks, reaching assets of almost RON 162 billion and a market share of over 20%.
