The pharmaceutical company Antibiotice Iași, owned by the Ministry of Health, recorded a significant decrease in net profit of 52%, reaching 42.63 million lei in the first nine months of 2025. Total revenues decreased by 3%, reaching 498.2 million lei, while current liabilities increased by 13%, reaching 265 million lei.

Despite these challenges, Antibiotice Iași is carrying out an investment project of 375 million lei, aimed at developing the research and development center and a new production capacity. Exports remained stable, generating revenues of 202.6 million lei, with a 3% increase in exports of finished products. In the domestic market, revenues decreased by 12.5%, but the company maintains a solid market share in generic medicines. Antibiotice Iași remains optimistic about future growth, relying on strategic partnerships and expansion into new markets.
