George Niculescu, the president of ANRE, stated that there are offers for the supply of natural gas below the capped price of 0.31 lei/kWh, with some active offers at 0.30 lei/kWh. He emphasized that suppliers offering prices of 0.42 lei/kWh are not serious and encouraged them to request the suspension of their license. Niculescu mentioned that, starting from April 1, consumers will be informed about contractual prices and the methods for changing suppliers. Changing suppliers can be done quickly and without costs. Additionally, ANRE will monitor the market and will sanction deviations from regulations, emphasizing that the authority does not tolerate inappropriate practices.
