ANAF wants to reduce tax fraud using cutting-edge technology. ANAF is preparing inspections with drones, artificial intelligence, and bodycams, following the model of Greece.

The Ministry of Finance is preparing a change in the way ANAF inspectors conduct inspections. After implementing anti-fraud software that guides inspectors towards companies with suspicious activities, the authorities are now considering the use of drones and body-worn cameras.
