National Institute of Statistics data show a 4.3% decrease in the value of agricultural output in 2024 compared to 2023. Crop production decreased by 10.1%, while livestock production increased by 5.1%. The share of crop production decreased to 55% and the share of livestock production increased to 41.8%. Increases were observed for other crop groups and vegetables, while cereals and oilseeds decreased. In the livestock sector, there were increases in cattle and sheep, but declines in poultry.
