Stelian Bujduveanu, the interim mayor of the capital, has announced a 105 million euro investment to unblock traffic in the Dimitrie Pompeiu area. The project includes widening the boulevard, extending the tram network, building a pedestrian walkway and a new road linking Pipera Road to the Glucose Factory. The feasibility study has been finalized and the tender for design and execution will be launched after approval by the CGMB. The works are expected to last 3 years.
