In Parma, Italy, a 42-year-old Romanian woman, a former caregiver of a deceased elderly man, and a 45-year-old man are accused of illegally occupying an apartment. The investigation began after the owner filed a complaint, noticing that the residence was occupied without his consent.

After the tenant's death, the apartment was closed, but upon the owner's return, he discovered clear signs that someone was living there, including food and furniture. The Carabinieri found that the woman had kept the key to the apartment and entered without permission.

Following an intervention, the two were found in the apartment and admitted that they did not have a rental contract. They were referred to the authorities for unlawful occupation, and the investigation continues to clarify the circumstances of the property's occupation.
