Alexandru and Sarah, two young Romanians, died in a scooter accident in Italy after the vehicle went off the road. The last image of them was captured by surveillance cameras.

On the night from Saturday to Sunday, Alexandru Viorel Ichim, aged 25, and his girlfriend, Sarah Ernani, aged 24, died in a tragic scooter accident on communal road 704 in Italy, between Tribiano and Mulazzano.

The two were returning home from a party with friends when the Kymco 125 scooter, driven by Alexandru, left the roadway and fell into a deep ditch. The last image of them was captured by surveillance cameras at 11:37 PM, and the accident occurred shortly after. Their bodies were discovered the next morning by runners, and the intervention of the crews could not save the young lives. Alexandru worked in cybersecurity, while Sarah was employed at Saipem. The two lived together and were making future plans. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the accident.
