Madalina, a Romanian who has been living in Doha, Qatar for 20 years, stated that she has not received any information from the Romanian embassy regarding the crisis in the Middle East, despite the fact that local authorities are sending alerts and messages of support.

She emphasized that she has not been contacted via SMS or phone by embassy staff, despite the fact that her details should be registered in their databases. At the same time, Doha has been shaken by explosions, likely caused by Iranian drone attacks, and the Ministry of Interior of Qatar has recommended residents to stay indoors and avoid open areas.
