A 52-year-old Romanian was found dead near his home in Italy, after having disappeared a few days earlier.

Iosif Niculiță, a 52-year-old Romanian, was found dead a short distance from his home in Sasso d'Ombrone, Italy, after he disappeared on August 14. The man was last seen between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, and his family alerted the authorities after he could no longer be contacted.

Searches were initiated by the prefecture of Grosseto, which requested the help of the population to find him. Unfortunately, hopes of finding him alive were dashed when his body was discovered near the house.

Italian authorities have not yet provided details about the cause of death or the circumstances in which Iosif lost his life. An investigation is underway to clarify the last hours of his life.
