Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan made an unannounced visit to the Romanian Consulate in Brussels on Thursday, aiming to verify the consular services offered to Romanian citizens in Belgium and how they are treated by consular officials.

This visit took place in the context of a broader trip by the Prime Minister to Brussels, where he is meeting with European officials and participating in a high-level conference dedicated to the eastern regions of the European Union.

Additionally, Bolojan has scheduled a meeting with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, where important topics will be discussed, including funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
