The Romanian Women Association in Italy (ADRI) is organizing an online event titled 'Far from Home, but Not Alone' on October 31, 2025, at 4:00 PM (Romania time), in the context of the European Day Against Trafficking in Human Beings. The conference will be broadcast live on ADRI's Facebook page and will bring together representatives of Romanian institutions, experts in combating exploitation, and members of the diplomatic corps.

The main goal of the event is to find concrete solutions for informing and protecting Romanians in the diaspora, helping them to avoid risky situations. Among the prominent guests are representatives of the National Agency Against Trafficking in Persons and the Romanian consulates in various countries. The organizers emphasize the importance of cooperation between authorities and civic organizations to combat human trafficking and invite the public to participate in the live broadcast.
