A Romanian has been arrested in Germany for attempting to create a far-right terrorist organization, aiming to establish a Nazi regime in Romania.

Germany arrested on Tuesday a young Romanian, Nichita P., accused of attempting to create a far-right terrorist organization, with the aim of causing the collapse of the Romanian state and establishing a national-socialist regime. The arrest took place in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg, and the accused is suspected of trying, since 2023, to form an organization aimed at destabilizing Romania.

The prosecution revealed that Nichita P. managed two channels on a messaging service, through which he recruited young Romanians, urging them to commit crimes, including attacks against migrants and the LGBTQ+ community. He also published instructions for making explosives and violent attacks. German authorities believe that his actions pose a serious threat to state security.
