A 29-year-old Romanian was shot in Erlangen by a 60-year-old man, after a conflict related to the situation in Ukraine. The suspect has been arrested.

A serious incident occurred in Erlangen, Germany, where a 29-year-old Romanian was shot by a 60-year-old man, a German-Kazakh citizen, in the parking lot near Europakanal, in front of his son. The conflict began after the suspect made comments about the Russo-Ukrainian conflict, at which point he pulled out a weapon with blank ammunition and shot at the victim, causing him minor injuries. The victim was urgently transported to the hospital for medical care.

The suspect fled to his apartment but was quickly arrested by the Special Operations Command (SEK), also suffering minor injuries during the arrest. He is now facing charges of serious bodily harm, and the investigation is ongoing, considering the possible political implications of the incident. The German police have requested the help of witnesses to obtain additional information.
