Romanian students from 2Space have won a prize and will compete in the finals of the International Rocket Engineering Competition in Texas with a supersonic rocket they designed entirely by themselves. The rocket, called 'Project YODA', is 2.9 meters long, weighs 35 kg and is made of advanced materials such as carbon. The team tested all the equipment and simulated extreme conditions to ensure the rocket's performance, which aims for an altitude of 9000 meters. The launch can be watched online from June 10-14.
