A 22-year-old young man from Mioveni died in a road accident on DN 73D, sources suggest that the incident may have been intentional due to financial problems.

A tragic accident occurred on DN 73D, in the commune of Davidești, where a 22-year-old young man from Mioveni lost his life. The incident took place around 04:30, when the car he was driving left the roadway and hit an electric pole. Police, firefighters, and ambulances intervened at the scene, however, despite resuscitation efforts, the young man was declared dead.

Sources indicate that he may have intentionally crashed into the pole due to financial problems, mentioning a loan of 15,000 lei that he had lost in gambling. His body was transported to the Argeș Legal Medicine Service for an autopsy, and the police continue investigations to clarify the circumstances of the accident. Meanwhile, in Bacău, there is discussion about banning gambling halls as a measure to prevent gambling addiction, considering that statistics show that 100,000 Romanians are facing this problem.
