The DIICOT prosecutors in Constanța detained a 25-year-old man, suspected of high-risk drug trafficking, after he was caught in the act near a school. The man was in possession of approximately 100 grams of cocaine, intended for sale. At the moment when the police officers from the Road Safety Service requested his identification documents, the young man attempted to flee but was immobilized by the authorities. In his car, considerable sums of money were also found, including over 10,000 lei, 400 euros, and 700 USD. The judge for rights and freedoms at the Constanța Tribunal ordered the preventive arrest of the defendant on the same day.
