The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (INHGA) issued a yellow flood warning on Saturday for several rivers in Prahova County, valid between 3:00 PM and 12:00 AM.

The warning is caused by recent and forecasted precipitation, which can generate significant runoff from slopes and rapid increases in water flow. The affected rivers include Prahova, upstream of the hydrometric station Câmpina, and Teleajen, upstream of the Măneciu reservoir.

Additionally, the risks are higher on small rivers in the Doftana and Vărbilău basins. INHGA has informed the competent authorities, including the Ministry of Environment and the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, to take the necessary measures to prevent potential incidents.
