Meteorologists have issued a yellow alert for 20 counties in Dobrogea, Moldova, Muntenia, and the southeast of Transylvania, including the municipality of Bucharest, valid from Sunday at 10:00 AM until Monday at the same hour.
Significant rainfall and snowfall are expected in the mountains, with a snow layer of 10-20 cm and blizzards in mountainous areas, where the wind will have gusts of 60-70 km/h.
In Bucharest, precipitation of 20-30 l/m² is expected, and the maximum temperature will be around 11 degrees. Wind intensifications are forecasted in the east and southwest of the country, with speeds of 40-50 km/h.
The National Meteorological Administration warns that, until the end of the interval, water accumulations of 25-40 l/m² may occur in certain areas.
