Among the notable cases is Stănica Serea, a public official at the Măicănești City Hall, accused of favoring a commercial company managed by her husband.
Cristian Miclău, the mayor of the town of Băile Herculane, is suspected of favoring his parents in the acquisition of a historic property. Gabriel Popa, mayor in Albeștii de Argeș, was found in a conflict of interest for purchasing services for his personal website. Other cases include local councilors who voted in favor of personal interests and police officers found in a state of incompatibility. ANI continues to monitor and investigate these violations to ensure the integrity of public functions.
