The police in Bucharest detained a 30-year-old woman, suspected of qualified theft, after she stole a gold watch, valued at approximately 175,000 euros, from the home of a 41-year-old man in Sector 1. The incident occurred on the night of January 10/11, 2026, when the woman took advantage of the victim's inattention, with whom she was collaborating, to steal the item. The police were notified on January 14, and after investigating the case, the suspect was identified and detained. She will be presented to the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Court of Sector 1, and investigations continue under the supervision of the authorities.
