Weather warnings: Yellow Code for torrential showers and storms in several regions

Meteorologists have issued a first Yellow Code warning valid from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, concerning Moldova, most of Transylvania, Muntenia, and the mountainous areas, as well as locally in Maramureș, southern Oltenia, and northwestern Dobrogea.

Heavy rain, gusty winds of 50-70 km/h, and small to medium-sized hail are expected, with water quantities reaching 15-25 l/m², with the possibility of exceeding 30-40 l/m² in certain areas. A second warning will be active from Saturday at 11:00 PM until Sunday morning at 08:00 AM, affecting the center and east of Moldova, with severe phenomena including downpours, lightning strikes, and wind intensifications.

On Sunday, between 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM, a new warning will target the Eastern Carpathians, the eastern half of the Southern Carpathians, Muntenia, Dobrogea, and southern Moldova, with similar risks of severe weather.
