The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has issued two Yellow Code warnings for atmospheric instability. The first is valid between June 3, 8:00 PM, and June 4, 10:00 AM, affecting the counties of Timiș, Caraș-Severin, Mehedinți, Gorj, Dolj, and the south of Hunedoara. In these areas, torrential downpours, electrical discharges, gusts of wind with speeds of 50-70 km/h, and small hail are expected. Precipitation amounts will reach 15-25 l/m², with the possibility of exceeding 30-40 l/m².
The second warning comes into effect on June 4, between 12:00 PM and 11:00 PM, covering Muntenia, eastern Oltenia, and southwestern Moldova, where similar severe phenomena are anticipated. Additionally, Bucharest will be under Yellow Code on the same day, with torrential rains and strong winds.
Authorities recommend caution and avoiding travel during storms.
