On Wednesday, until 21:00, a Code Orange is in force in the eastern counties of Ialomita, Calarasi and western Constanta, where heat wave and severe discomfort are expected, with temperatures between 36-38°C. A Code Yellow is also in effect in western Ialomița, Călărași, Brăila and the mainland of Tulcea, with temperatures between 33-35°C. On the same day, a Code Orange is active in Suceava, Botoșani, Neamț and other counties, where heavy downpours and strong thunderstorms are forecast. Yellow warnings are also issued for other regions, with atmospheric instability and hail.
