The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) has published the weather forecast for the period of December 15-28, indicating initially warmer weather than the seasonal average, with little precipitation. In the first days, daytime temperatures will reach values of 14 degrees in Banat and Crișana, but will gradually cool down, reaching 3-4 degrees by the end of the period. In Transylvania, the maximum temperatures will vary from 10 degrees at the beginning to 1-2 degrees towards the end.
In Moldova and Dobrogea, a decrease in temperatures is expected from values of 9-10 degrees at the beginning to 0-2 degrees at the end. Muntenia and Oltenia will experience a similar trend, with initial maximums of 11-12 degrees, followed by cooling. In the mountains, a decrease in temperatures is anticipated from 8-9 degrees at the beginning to -4 degrees at the end. The probability of precipitation will increase in the second half of the period, with higher chances of rain or snow, especially in the mountains.
