Ilie Bolojan is preparing the exclusion of Adrian Veștea from PNL and possible actions at the CCR

The leader of PNL, Ilie Bolojan, is expected to propose in the meeting of the National Political Bureau the suspension and subsequently the exclusion from the party of Adrian Veștea, according to political sources. Additionally, Bolojan is also considering contesting at the Constitutional Court the manner in which his appointment was made by President Nicușor Dan.

The information is part of the scenarios discussed at the political level.

Moreover, Senator Daniel Fenechiu stated that the party leadership meeting will discuss a possible referral to the Constitutional Court.

For his part, Veștea avoided responding regarding the possibility of PNL referring to the CCR, emphasizing that this measure would delay decisions for the country.

"I am not in a position to make legal comments. We can get caught up in all sorts of details, delaying decisions, but we must treat the situation with respect and think about what is necessary for our country. What is important is to think about what we do for the country and how we manage to give it functionality," said Adrian Veștea on Monday at Radio România Actualități, when asked about the possibility of PNL referring to the CCR regarding his appointment.
