President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived on Thursday at 1:30 PM at the Cotroceni Palace, where he was welcomed by the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan.

The Ukrainian president landed in Bucharest around 11:30 AM. Volodymyr Zelensky flew from Rzeszow Airport (Poland) to Bucharest on the Airbus A319ACJ owned by the Ukrainian government, according to Boarding Pass, writes Cotidianul.

Romania and Ukraine will sign a strategic partnership today, negotiated since 2023, which will cover areas such as the economy, education, minority rights, and military cooperation.
The two presidents, Nicușor Dan and Volodymyr Zelensky, will hold a joint press conference at around 3:00 PM, according to the Presidential Administration.
Zelensky will also be received by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan at the Victoria Palace, around 4:00 PM. Additionally, the leader from Kiev will also visit the European F-16 Training Center at the 86th Air Base in Borcea, according to Digi24.
This official visit takes place four years after the start of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
The Presidential Administration emphasized in a statement Romania's constant support for Ukraine, including in international efforts for a lasting peace.
