As the European Parliament's rapporteur for the implementation report of the Europe Against Cancer Plan, Voiculescu is calling for a systemic reform to reduce the growing gap between Eastern and Western Europe regarding oncological care.

His mandate focuses on ensuring that the benefits of European funds — modern hospitals, trained medical staff, and cutting-edge medicines — reach all Europeans equally. By simplifying the rules for cross-border healthcare, the goal is to transform a complex administrative process into a real safety net for every citizen.
