A spectacular robbery took place in a jewelry store in Timisoara, where a 45-year-old man, recently released from prison, attacked the shop assistant and stole jewelry. The assailant, who had committed another robbery two days earlier, was caught by security guards after making off with several gold chains and bracelets. The shop assistant was taken to hospital and the man was remanded in custody for 30 days on charges of aggravated robbery.
