Viktor Orban, the former Prime Minister of Hungary, will participate on Saturday, July 25, in the 35th edition of the Summer University in Baile Tusnad, also known as Tusvanyos.

The event will include current and former FIDESZ parliamentarians, representatives of Hungarian communities from Romania and other countries, as well as professors and journalists. The current Prime Minister, Peter Magyar, has sparked a public debate, expressing his dissatisfaction that Hungarian government officials are not invited, even though the event is funded by Hungarian taxpayers' money.

Magyar has called for an open debate and emphasized the importance of the participation of government officials. The organizer, Tibor T. Toro, stated that he would have liked the presence of representatives from the Hungarian government to facilitate substantial discussions.

This year's theme is "Tusvanyos 35 - Together with you!", and the event will also include the launch of a book about the history of the Summer University. This 35-year tradition is seen as a space for dialogue and community for participants.
