This evening, the Victoria Palace will be illuminated in pink and blue colors, marking the Day of Angel Parents, a awareness campaign dedicated to parents who have suffered the loss of children during pregnancy, at birth, or before the age of 18. The government emphasizes the importance of this gesture as an act of solidarity and commemoration of the innocent lives lost. It also highlights the need for reforms in the healthcare system, especially following the recent tragedy in Iași, where several children died due to infections. The Day of Angel Parents, observed annually on October 15, was established by Law 186/2024, which provides affected families access to state-funded psychological counseling to help them overcome emotional trauma.
